Better than the suffering of hatred:compassion. Better than the suffering of ignorance:intellgence. Better than the suffering of defilement:joy. 持身不可太皎洁 一切污辱垢秽要茹纳得 处事不可太分明 一切贤愚好丑要包容得 Don't be too reproachful in your practice and cultivation:tolerate the impure and unclean. Don't be judgmental in handling affairs:you have to put up with all sorts of people. 见人成就不要忌妒 见人发心应当随喜 见人有难不可旁观 见人沉沦要能提携 Don't envy. Praise good deeds. Offer a hand to people in trouble. Help the disadvantaged. 人要知苦恼 才会本份不妄求 人要知惭愧 才会谦虚不自大 Know your demerits and what should be improved,so as not to ask for more than you deserve. Let conscience guard you from arrogance. 被人等待固然是一种残忍的行为 学习等待却也是一种至高的艺术 It is hard to be kept waiting,but it is an art to wait patiently. 有的人用精勤写「历史」 有的人用金钱写「历史」 有的人用血汗写「历史」 有的人用逢迎写「历史」 有的人用忠贞写「历史」 有的人用谄媚写「历史」 有的人用智慧写「历史」 有的人用慈悲写「历史」 Some write history with diligence. Some write history with money. Some write history with blood and sweat. Some write history with flattery. Some write history with loyalty. Some wirte history with sub-servience. Some write history with wisdom. Some write history with compassion. 有了感动，就能心甘情愿的发心 有了感动，就能无怨无悔的故事 别人的善言懿行，自己要能感动 自己的所言所行，也要感动他人 Being moved,we have perfectly willing aspirations. Being moved,we act without regrets. Let yourself be moved by good deeds and words. By your good deeds and words,move others. 「随缘」是立场互易，随顺环境 但决非随便行事，苟且偷安 「不变」是择善故执，一以贯之 但不是墨守成规，泥古不化 To act according to causes and conditions means to act in the interests of others. To act according to principles means to choose what is right and stick to it,not just to cling to the old rules. 「耐烦」是一种艺术 「有恒」是一种希望 耐烦有恒，做事才能成就 耐烦有恒，做人才能通达 Patience is a skill. Persistence springs from hope. Patience and persistence lead to success and harmony. 求知要进一步想 处事要退一步想 能受天磨方铁汉 不被人忌是庸才 To learn,think. To handle business,relax. A great person accepts his ordeals. A capable person cannot avoid being envied by others. 「推诿」，阻碍一切进步 「担当」，成就一切事功 「强辩」，招来一切非议 「认错」，化解一切责难 Shirking responsibility impedes progress. Taking responsibility impels progress. Obstinate error incurs reproach. Admitting error dispels reproach. 能干者 总会多受一点折磨 不能干 则要多受一点委屈 Competent people survive their trials. Incompetent people succumb to frustration. 在受苦的时候，要感到快乐 在委屈的时候，要觉得公平 在忙碌的时候，要自然安闲 在受责的时候，要安忍担当 Be happy even when suffering. Be fair even when wronged. Be relaxed even when busy. Be tolerant even when criticized. 惭愧反省，是悔过的勇气 惭愧反省，是自知的镜子 惭愧反省，是明日的祥和 惭愧反省，是智慧的果实 惭愧反省，是进德的阶梯 惭愧反省，是自修的功课 Self-examination and repentance are courageous. Self-examination and repentance are a mirror in your hand. Self-examination and repentance lead to harmony. Self-examination and repentance reap the fruit of wisdom. Self-examination and repentance are a stairway to virtue. Self-examination and repentance are lessons to practice. 觉人之伪，不形之于色 吃人之亏，不动之于口 施人之恩，不发之于言 受人之惠，不忘之于心 Don't show that you know someone is cheating. Don't complain when you are taken advantage of. Don't brag when you do a favor. Don't forget when you receive a favor. 求全之心，可用之责己 但不可用以交友 满足之心，可用之处境 但不可用以求知 Be critical of yourself,but not of your friends.
